Throughout this page, I will share
three simple, but powerful secrets to
knock down obstacles which will
jump in front of you. The methods and secrets I share have all come
from former Microsoft technicians, SEO & website traffic analyzers,
web designers, software engineers and even a cognitive psychologist.
It's
important to understand that the techniques and strategies contained
in this program are not specific to any one business as they are
univeral laws that apply to anyone, anywhere for anything.
So, who is Louie Frias?
Let me start by saying, I am NOT a rags to riches story. I don't even
know anyone who is. Not to say they aren't out there, but in nearly
thirty years of business I've never met one. Neither has anyone I know.
What I am is a testament to what working smart as opposed to working
hard can do. The smarter I work, the luckier I get. The more I "pop my
head up", the more opportunities I catch. I LOVE what "Edna" from the
Pixar movie "The Incredibles" said; "Luck favors the prepared darling."
The saying "The rich get richer and the poor get poorer" is painful and
I want no part of that nonsense. I think everyone should be rich. I
think our forefathers thought so too. So what happened? In certain
circles, the
rich are selfish. They don't want the common man or woman to have
access to their privileged lifestyle. They want others to be
subservient. I align myself with the wealthy who believe in the eternal
laws of the universe and give more than they receive.
I know a lot of hard working people who enjoy serving others. Is it
right they should be treated unlike their wealthy counterparts? I don't
think so. That's why I do what I do. Help people get rich.
My career has allowed me to move people from (financial) harm's way. To
give them
advice and push them to think on their own for which I've been paid
handsomely. So, I'm not a "poor kid from the other side of the tracks
who stumbled onto one of these get-rich-quick,
don't-have-to-do-anything" schemes. I'm John Q. Public who is always
looking for a better opportunity. And when I find one, I share it with
people close to me.
Here's my story...
I grew up in a middle-class suburb near the beach in Southern
California. My first experience with network marketing was when I was
still in high school. Frank was an elderly man who always drove a new
Cadillac and worked at our neighborhood convenience store. Logically
that made no sense to me. I thought, "My dad worked harder than Frank
and we didn't have a new Cadillac." Curiosity got the better of me. One
day I walked into the store and flat out asked how he was able to
always be so happy and drive a new car.
He introduced me to network marketing. He told me he only worked at the
store because it provided him with an endless number of people he could
chat with about his opportunity.
Guess what I had just become? You guessed it.
A lead. I was fascinated
with his success. Like I said, my dad worked hard, we didn't have a new
car; Frank worked smart and he did have a new car. Now it made sense to
me.
I signed up and was officially a "network marketer" on my way to
driving a new car!Whoo hoo!
(Secret
Number 1:
Don't "PreQualify" your prospects as you NEVER know who will succeed
given the chance.)
Hold the phone...I quickly ran into two problems.
One, Frank was not a
leader; he had no system for teaching me how to succeed, and,
Two, I had no
clue how to market. In no time at all, it was time for me to do what
all my buddies were doing; get a part-time job.
After graduation I really didn't set myself up to succeed. Fortunately,
I had a friend whose
father owned a mortgage company and so I became a mortgage banker and
real estate broker. It's all
I've ever done. I've consulted, trained and risen to top producer
status with several Inc 500 companies. If you know what you're doing,
and how to market yourself,
the money is
insane.
In my career, over $900 million dollars of
business has crossed my desk. The problem however, was always the same;
once a mortgage was funded, or a house sold, you had to start
prospecting all over
again. Rates go up, you have to explain something you have no control
over. You lose business. On the flip side, the most enjoyable part was
teaching someone who could barely use a calculator how to create a
profitable career for themselves serving others.
Shortly after moving to Las Vegas, I once again visited the
network
marketing arena. Older and wiser, I thought I could certainly create a
successful business. I researched some big name MLM's and picked the
most recognizable one. I then located the most successful distributor
in our area and went to visit them to see how they were doing it.
Whatever they were doing, they were doing it right - in a big way. They
lived in a gigantic, beautiful new home with an incredible infinity
edge pool overlooking the lake; this pad even had its' own theater
room! All the toys one could imagine, plus a lifestyle funded by an
endless supply of m-o-n-e-y from an endless supply of l-e-a-d-s.
(That's a HUGE hint of how you'll make your fortune fromthe internet.)
I could see they had a system and it looked duplicable. So, Louie the
Lead signed up.
After the 11:00 news was over, I would embark on a covert mission
throughout the city where I and my trusty staple hammer would assault
every wooden telephone pole with a bright orange poster. I never
finished before the sun came up.
A few leads would trickle in and I would use my uniquely polished sales
skills to sell my products, however, not once did I ever recruit a
single distributor. How many people do you know want to spend all night
stapling posters to telephone poles only to have the city and county or
your competition rip them all down over the next few days? Hard to
recruit for that kind of "job".
One night before my usual ritual, I looked at my sleeping wife and
newborn daughter and asked myself, "What the hell am I doing?" Sure, I
wanted super success with residual income which wasn't available in my
career, but this "system" was not largely duplicable and was not
yielding the results I needed. I resolved myself to admit once again,
it wasn't for
me. Over the years I tried a couple of other "next big thing"
companies and met with the same results. I was definitely getting
discouraged.
I cranked up my mortgage business once again. Every mortgage funded
brought career satisfaction and a paycheck for my family. But, if
you're anything like me, you've got residual bills and want residual
income to make them go away.
What I did know was this - networking marketing was profitable. VERY
profitable. IF, the product was right. IF, the timing was right. IF,
the company was positioned right. IF, there was a duplicable marketing
system available And IF, I could find a successful leader willing to
train me.
Stop right here and understand something...I had always been
successful. I was successful enough to be included in "Who's Who Among
Young American Professionals", become a Court Appointed Special
Advocate (CASA) for two prominent judges in Clark County, and be
elected to manage one of the largest Youth Soccer Organizations in
Nevada
But I was also successful at being a network marketing
failure. I was
ashamed and embarrassed that I couldn't succeed. Was I ever going to be
successful at network marketing?
In 2006 the real estate and mortgage industry gravy train had
come to an unexpected slow-down then abrupt stop. Was this a clue for
me to take my last shot at making it big in MLM?
I started secretly devouring everything I could find about internet and
network marketing
systems. As you can probablyimagine, my credit card nearly melted from
use. (If my wife even
suspected
I was
looking again, it would surely spell Deeevorce.)
My goal was to carefully select and invest in courses written by only
the most prominent and successful internet and network marketers. Some
were good,
few were great. The more I learned, the more I discovered how much I
didn't know and needed to.
(Secret
Number 2: Invest in yourself. Always. Once you learn something
valuable, teach it to
someone else. Before you
know it, you'll have created a team of like-minded people.
Because you have created value.) It's that "Pay It Forward"
concept.
It only took about a month to zero in on the specifics on how to create
my own Internet Marketing Sponsoring machine. The question now
was...which opportunity would I unleash it on? There was, and is, an
ocean of them available.
An old saying goes, "When the student is ready, the teacher appears."
I didn't need to search; it found me.
One day by chance, I was told about a network marketing opportunity by
an agent in our office. She told me the number one real estate agent
for the number one Century 21 office in the world was hosting a
business opportunity lunch at a local restaurant.
What a coincidence...the child of the number one real estate agent for
the number one Century 21 office in the world and our child attended
the same private Christian School. We would see each other nearly every
day - dropping off the children; picking up the children. We had even
conducted business together a few times.
This superstar and I had known each other for over ten years and yet
she had not seen fit to expose me to this business? I had to hear about
it through another person who barely knew of her? And to make matters
worse, she was also the Number 9 income earner in a company that was
only 18 months new!
At this point, let's just say, I'm excited because of the incredible
opportunity that met all my criteria and angry because I could have
been in sooner. I went to the lunch.
When I arrived, she smiled and hugged me. "Hi Louie." she said. And
with all the enthusiasm of a proud mom, she asked, "Would you like to
learn how to make more money than you ever did in your real estate and
mortgage
business?"
I sighed, then said to her the same thing I said to my bride on my
wedding day..."I
do."
This opportunity coupled with the marketing system I plugged in to is
how I created such a powerful team. The leaders on my team merely
duplicate what their leaders do.
It's what you can now learn for yourself. If you choose to. You'll
be learning some incredible techniques for achieving success.
This is the
best system available because it solves your biggest problem better. (If
you don't already KNOW what your biggest problem is, you really need to
subscribe.)
Combine it with a profitable vehicle for serving others like I have and
you
will enjoy a
lifestyle funded by an extraordinary stream of recurring income.
(Secret
Number 3: Apply as much as you can from your learning as fast as you
can. Internet Multi-Millionaires refer to it as "Speed of
Implementation".
In closing, I am
eternally grateful to my early mentors: Jim Rohn, Rev. Robert
Schuller, Sterling W. Sill, Bob Ringer, George S.
Clayson and Napoleon Hill. I am also grateful everyday to my NEW
mentors for teaching me "New school" techniques and strategies: Marc
Accetta, Eben Pagan, Mike Dillard, Tom Bell, Jim Edwards, Mark Widawer,
Sean Mize, "Doc Hollywood", Perry Marshall, Dennis Karganilla, and
Frank Kern, "Old Man" Casey and Tellman Knudsen. You read or watch
anything by
these gifts
to humankind and you'll never think negative again.
I hope I've inspired you to get excited about what you're being exposed
to and to continue to grow and prosper as you've always dreamed.
To your success!
